A saying I find myself pondering often is “Make hay while the sun shines”
Hundreds of years ago, most of the world worked in agriculture.
Their work was seasonal. When it was time to plant they planted, when it was time to harvest, they harvested.
They followed nature.
Something that most modern people have no affiliation with because they work inside dull boring office buildings.
They are on the clock 50 weeks a year, and have to ask permission to take a day off, when they can take vacation, if they can go take a shit etc.
Imagine having to ask permission from another man if you can go to the bathroom.
It’s not fun, believe me, I’ve been there.
We’re taught this our whole lives that we need to ‘ask permission’ to do stuff.
That for some reason, other people know better than you and are in control of you.
I don’t know about you but this never sat right with me.
I have always had problems being told what to do, especially by people who don’t really know shit like my old teachers or bosses who still aren’t happy with their lives.
This is obviously all done on purpose. To teach us from a young age that we need to get permission before attempting to do anything.
This way you are much easier to control. If you’re a good little obedient boy then you’ll never be a threat to anyone.
You’ll learn this once you start to acquire power.
You can see how many people truly have no power, even over their own lives, and we wonder why everyone is broke and depressed.
They’ve done many studies that suggest one of the main contributing factors to “work fulfillment” is the amount of control you can exercise in your day to day.
People would rather work a crappy job if they get to choose more of what they do than a high paying office job where they have to ask permission if they can go sharpen their pencil.
Something along those lines. Most studies are bullshit and obvious or paid off by a certain government or corporation to fit their agenda.
But there is truth to the happiness being tied to how much control you have over your life and work.
Because in reality, control is the exact same as power.
Why do you think sitting in hours of rush hour traffic doesn’t bother most people but it bothers men like us who actually have somewhere to be?
I get furious at
I love my life. Because I operate as I see fit. I follow my own nature, and don’t try and fit inside some little societal box.
I follow how the world IS not how we humans think it should be.
When its sunny and summer? I’m outside working. When it’s freezing outside and winter? I’m inside relaxing or working online.
I’m about to travel for the next month and a half, because I have a business that when it’s time to work hard, I work hard.
But i’m not afraid to take time off when it’s time.
This is why there are few businesses better than a home service business.
You can quite literally start making money tomorrow, with very little tools or money. Starting is outside the scope of this article but checkout one of my books on this subject.
Build your business up to $10,000 a month (which anyone can do) then take your new freedom and money and build an online business.
This is what I did, and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done.
See, I floundered for years trying to start the internet business first but the problem was I had no time, money, or skills.
I was always trapped at a job and was too busy scraping by. Living in and operating inside the prison of ordinary life.
Today I’m free, writing this article at 35,000 feet on the way to wherever the hell I want, while both my businesses work for me.
You must escape the shackles of society. You must live in the way that aligns with your soul. You’ll know when this happens.
Build your own life. Create your own world.
That is true freedom
Until next time
