Why you should choose a hard business

Every time I go fishing in the little local lake I get skunked

It’s 2 minutes from my house right in the middle of the city

Supposedly there are fish but it seems my skills are not up to par.

Yet every time I drive 5 hours to the middle of nowhere to a secret spot we limit out and get some big ass fish.

Did my skills change?

No.

Did God smile upon me?

Not exactly.

It’s all about simple economics.

See everytime someone tells you about some “EASY way to make money”, by then it will be too late.

EVERYONE flocks to the easy place to fish, until it is impossible to get anything there.

But luckily by many people getting distracted from the prospects of something close and easy.

We can go out, drive a bit farther, find a business people don’t want to do, and CLEAN UP.

Do you understand?

This is why every online business promoted by some guru is fucking hard.

Because it is too damn saturated.

Now of course there are exceptions. Businesses like hyper local services (such as gutter cleaning for example) skirt this rule because there are only so many people willing to do that business.

Home service businesses are usually great options because turns out, lots of people are lazy as fuck and don’t want to go outside in the cold or 100+ degree heat and be up on a roof or something.

So there’s that.

But also let’s say it is your dream to make money online. Great.

You must find some competitive advantage or something that no one else is doing.

The internet is a big place, there is alot of money to go around.

But the internet is also a very efficient place.

The second people see your shopify store is blowing up or the app you made is crushing it before you can blink there will be 50 clones built in India or 20 suppliers in China will start undercutting your price.

Hell even Whole Foods does this.

That’s why they have their brand Whole 365 or something. They can analyze exactly what products are doing well, and then immediately go and do it better.

So just be aware you are entering a very competitive marketplace anytime something is “easy” to do or implement.

This is why I don’t mind hard stuff like the software game.

It takes alot of work to sign people up to software that then pays you out monthly (my software is https://goexteriorpro.com/ )

BUT, on the up side it is very hard for someone to compete with me because I have my own brand that provides extreme levels of value to my people (young men in the business space).

Amazon (owner of Whole foods) could launch an app that does exactly what mine does but they wouldn’t have any personality or story of their own behind that shit. Good luck with that.

So whatever you’re looking to get into recognize if its easy or hard. If it’s easy this isn’t necessarily a bad thing but as Connor Mcgregor said “Get in, Get rich, get out”

It will get crowded soon unless you can build the wall and keep people out (pharmaceutical companies do this, lobbying millions to the government to help keep others away)

If your business is hard, do it better than anyone else and get GOOD at it.

Enjoy the pain, enjoy the struggle, that is what keeps everyone else away.

That is all for now

Your man,

  • Spencer Claeys
